PT. Pengelola Limbah Kutai Kartanegara (PT. PLKK) has special policies to meet health and safety standard. The policies are also positively functions to prevent accidents, health problems, damage and losses that might arise during operation. In addition to policies, PT. PLKK also has a commitment to finance matters related to health and safety, appropriate legislation and rules of company.

PT. PLKK supports employee of participation and contribution on upholding and implementing safe work practices. All employees are required to accept individual responsibility on maintaining health and safe working systems. Therefore, PT. PLKK provides a number of adequate training for every employee on demand.

As a complement of policies, PT. PLKK has published System of Health and Safety Management, and a series of technical notes related to risk in specific areas. Every employee of PT. PLKK has the knowledge of the documents

ENVIRONMENT

PT. Pengelola Limbah Kutai Kartanegara (PT. PLKK) complies with all law and regulations as efforts on protection and management of environmental. PT. PLKK works with customers to achieve the goal.

Through employee awareness, PT. PLKK regulates the following matters:

1. Reducing amount of waste production.

2. Utilizing waste as well as possible.

3. Managing waste safely with regards to environment.

4. Considering use of alternative products that are safe for environment.
